DEN HAAG, NETHERLANDS [28/06/24] - In a world hungry for meaning, a new philosophy book provides answers to life's most profound questions in less time than it takes to watch a movie. "One Theory About Everything: The Natural Philosophy of Life and Love" by Adrian Catron invites readers on a 96-minute journey through the human soul, exploring topics from the meaning of life to the possibility of world peace.
After three decades of life research, Adrian presents a coherent philosophy system that unites life forces: life and love, with death and the universe. The book introduces a new concept "ega," as the natural complement to the ego, governing the immaterial aspects of human existence and forming together who someone really is.
"The more knowledge you put into your brain, the greater the peace you feel in your heart," says Adrian. "This book is about letting readers know other points of view and inspiring them to start the search for their own truth."
"One Theory About Everything" covers nine interconnected essays, including: what is love?, what is time?, life and death, the secret in the bible, sexuality, and a plan for world peace. Catron's clear and unique style makes complex philosophical concepts accessible to a broad audience.
The book is available now on Amazon, Google Books, and the author's website. Readers can access the pivotal chapter "What is Love?" for free at the author's website.

Questions:
What inspired you to write "One Theory About Everything"?
My travels have always kept me on the move, exposing me to a variety of perspectives that didn't always fit neatly into existing frameworks. People appreciated these unique viewpoints during conversations, often finding them refreshing. To clarify and document these perspectives, I began writing. This process has evolved into a lifelong investigation, with the book serving as the foundation and my newsletter providing ongoing updates.
You mention the concept of the “ega”. How does understanding this concept change one's perspective on life?
Understanding the concept of the ega and applying it can transform your life and your understanding of human nature. It sheds light on how we make decisions and how we can work on self-improvement. The ega represents the aspects of our inner self, like love, knowledge, wisdom, and compassion. The Ego, on the other hand, is the external self, the material counterpar. Together, they form a complete picture of who we truly are.
Your book covers a wide range of topics. How do these diverse subjects interconnect in your theory?
The goal is to provide answers to the fundamental questions of humanity. While many philosophers have attempted to create systems explaining our existence, I focus on the intersection between our inner lives (the microcosm) and the universe (the macrocosm). We are driven by the survival instinct of the life force and motivated by the force of love to keep searching for meaning.
You wrote it in English, your weakest language. Why did you choose this approach?
The beauty of English lies in its ability to convey complex ideas with a relatively small vocabulary. In Dutch, I often find myself searching for the perfect word, but in English, I can simply explain what I mean, which feels more poetic. After writing in English, I translated it into Spanish, refining the English version in the process, and then into Dutch, further honing the meaning. This method truly captures my thought process.
What do you hope readers will take away from your book?
I hope readers will find the book thought-provoking, offering fresh and diverse perspectives. If even one idea resonates with them or gives them something new to consider, I will be happy. The aim is to challenge standard beliefs and encourage deeper reflection. But, I think the concept of the ega is the most important one to understand.
You mention that the book can be read in 96 minutes. Why is this significant, and how did you achieve such conciseness?
The idea was to provide all answers for humanity in under 100 pages. The book initially had 300 pages, but I couldn't reduce it to less than 140 pages without losing valuable content. Every word is essential. I believe it offers the most well spent 96 minutes of your life.
How has your personal journey of traveling the world influenced your philosophy?
The journey has taught me a lot, not only through conversations with strangers but also by always being on the move and unable to return home. The Dutch government mistakenly deleted me from their system 15 years ago, and since then, I haven't been able to go home. I feel like an old soul traveling the world without a destination, learning along the way. These experiences shape my philosophy of life.
In your opinion, what's the most controversial or thought-provoking idea presented in your book?
The book contains a few controversial and thought-provoking ideas, including the concept of ega, enlightenment through orgasm, a meaning of life, and a plan for achieving world peace.
You've written the book in three languages. How does this multilingual approach enhance your philosophical perspective?
My thinking and logic are Dutch, as it is the language I grew up with. The belief system and language structure differ from Spanish or English. Translating these ideas into other languages made me aware of these differences, ensuring that the meaning remains the same and understandable for the reader.
Can you share a personal anecdote that led to a significant insight presented in the book?
I once had a near-death experience. Although I felt alive in my body, I was completely unable to move it. This was a major shift in consciousness, teaching me that we are not our bodies but souls with bodies to move around.
How do you think your One Theory About Everything can contribute to solving current global challenges?
Philosophy helps raise consciousness and encourages the search for truth. There are many distractions and manipulations affecting the masses. Thinking like everyone else means you're not truly thinking. Arm yourself with knowledge and wisdom to navigate this.
What advice would you give to readers who want to start developing their own philosophy of life?
Everyone has a philosophy of life, even if they're not aware of it. Start observing and defining how you act and react—this is your current philosophy. Then, become aware and try to change what you don't like or what is toxic for you. I recommend starting with stoicism and developing your own style from there. I agree with the stoic belief that philosophy is not just a mental activity but a daily effort to improve your life.
